Yes, AI has enabled smartphones, enabled self driving cars, permitted virtual assistants such as Alexa and Siri, improved cybersecurity, and is being absorbed into aspects of most industries and service professions. Yet- mistakes –though declining still require human oversight. WHILE THE AI DEVELOPMENT IS FAST WE HUMANS HAVE THE UPPER HAND. ALL FACETS OF AI ARE MACHINES; THEY DEPEND ON HUMAN INPUT AT PRESENT. Yes, there are challenges out there–as with all change. But a human we have enormous power to alter outcomes–if we so choose. We have the ability to maintain our dominance over the emotional and creative worlds and choose the help we want in the factual or cognitive worlds as we maintain or power of creative thinking. Moreover, we all possess Emotional Intelligence that enables us to socialize and have effective communication, better relationships, and balance between our thinking and feeling sides to ourselves.
